In 1973, noted photographer Terry O’Neill was invited to be amongst a select group to witness David Bowie’s last performance as Ziggy Stardust. This event at The Marquee was filmed for a television special and O’Neill was there to capture every moment. From that historic musical appearance, O’Neill went on to work with David Bowie for more than thirty years. Terry O’Neill’s camera was poised at seminal moments of a career steeped in genius. Images include David Bowie's press session for Diamond Dogs, performance photography from Station to Station, set photography from The Man Who Fell to Earth, when David Bowie met William Burroughs, the recording session for Young Americans and much more. Hardcover with orange-silk presentation box, with a specially commissioned bas-relief portrait of Bowie that rests on the top of the book.
